Shame I was a passenger in my dads car today or the dashcam footage would have been worth posting! We duly moved aside on the A38 for a somewhat modified Golf Gti (2005 model). He was clearly the fastest man on the road and went roaring off at speed down the outside lane.

At the next set of lights he had to stop and was in the overtaking lane alongside a new RRS. I have no idea what engine was in the RRS but he must have put it in sand mode because the Golf (despite revving away on the line), was left for dead.
