To be fair to her, unless you have a MK1 mini the amount of clearance to get any lock on reversing out went when she parked to enable her to get out of the car is negligible. Parking aids are great but generally alarm with about 8" to a foot clearance, this is ensure that a low obstacle cannot be hit. The good old multi story parks were designed for 1960's cars not todays cars where a Corsa takes up more room than a Cortina. Due to revenue collection the space for a car has not increased, hence more door dents. I shop at Waitrose at least their spaces are designed for large 4x4's not MK1 minis, or at least where I live they are. Rolling with laughter my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

I agree in most cases but that's a brand new car park, ample space for big cars loads of room and for once a fairly decent designed car park
