Hi

I'm selling my spare set of alloys that are fitted with Vredstein wintrac 4 xtreme tyres.

I bought the alloys second hand 2-3 years ago and had them fitted with the Wintracs - 235/65/R17

Each of the tyres has 6-7mm of tread remaining and have not had any puncture repairs.

The alloys are not 'as new' they are used they do have the odd scuff and each of them has a bit of bubbling near the valve - however they make a fantastic spare set. This style of alloy has been fitted to the GS model trim for many years.

They are for sale as a set for was £400 now £375 collection only from Norwich.

Shame - anyone closer interested in a great set of winter wheels/tyres?

Having a set myself i can assure anyone think about them that those tyres on snow or muddy roads are awsome and the difference between standard M&S tyres & the Wintracs is as much again as the difference between 2wd & 4WD.
Highly recommend them. Onece you have tried them you would always use them in winter Jaguar x-type sport gone

Snow is falling..time for a spare set of wheels with winter tyres..now reduced to £375.

Remember there may be some members able to transfer these for you if you are not local. I too can vouch for these tyres - I'd go for them at this price but I've already got a set! Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Hi there, If these haven't been snapped up by Jimski I would be very interested in them.

A couple of quick questions for you:
Do the centre caps come with the wheels?
Is it possible to get a few additional pics (bubbling round valves and of each of the tires) please?
Roughly how long have these been on and off your FL2 for? (How long have they been 'laid up' as my dad would say)

Sorry for what must seem like a barrage of questions, I have been looking for a while and have been burned by certain auction sites in the past - so am overly cautious now.

Yes the centre caps come with the wheels - WYSIWYG

Will try and do some closer up pics on NYD - the next time I'm home in daylight. As in my advert f you are looking for a new set of alloys then these won't be for you...they are used. I bought the alloys maybe two winters ago s/hand and the tyres the year before that I think. They are on the car Nov through to April..the rest of the time kept in the dark laying down. The tread depth demonstrates they haven't done a great mileage. These were last on the car in April.

Hopefully you'll find this site isn't ebay and you're not million miles away if you want to come and have a look

Thanks for the info, I should clarify that I am not looking for a brand new set. A few scuffs/usage marks/paint bubbling will not matter to me. As long as they all hold air and can be washed without fear of big strips of paint coming off - I went to look at a set that were 'nearly new' and it would have been a stretch to call them used


The pics were just to confirm the same thing didn't happen again really. If you were happy for us to pop over one day to take a look, I am happy to work around when you are available.

Are you Dereham side or Yarmouth side of Norwich?
