Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red
Lost my car to the wife

As some of you guys know I slipped and broke my ankle on Tuesday. I have been told that I will be laid up for between 6 - 8 weeks. I'm aware through this forum that FL2 has to be driven to keep the battery from going flat.
Without my knowledge the wife took "big red" out to go and visit my mum (yes the wife is insured) . The wife has driven the FL2 a few times but I have always been in the car (she has never driven an automatic before). She enjoyed driving the FL2 so much she has already starting to refer to it as her car , and that I can drive the focus mk2 when I get back on my feet Big Cry
Is this grounds for divorce? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I think it's a good thing personally. My partner was starting to drive my Tomb Raider Defender more often and may making noises about wanting the 90 version for herself! Having two 14 year old Defenders would have been financial suicide lol

I bought her the FL2 as a compromise but actually I'm a tad jealous. I'm always sneaking off in it 😂

Other half wanted a Tiguan. I had to work my ar-- of thinking of all the benefits of a proper car. As VW & Seat (no longer available in Australia) have turned into pavlovas. Having a Seat which was a very good car for its day, it was a very tough situation.

Now that other half has driven the Freelander, the qualities of a Land Rover are being appreciated.

I would rather have the other half driving a Land Rover than me having to drive a pavlova. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
