I'm sure I read somewhere that the drivers side mirror should dip towards the kerb when reversing to aid parking, but the 2010 XS I picked up yesterday doesn't seem to do it

Does it need to be set up or was it an optional extra that I might not have?

Standard on HSE and HSE Luxury, not usually available on XS

I have it on my Dynamic as I specced "Drivers Seat Memory" but I disabled the auto dip feature! It's a £355 option from the factory

OP has a 2010 model, different to yours Nut, no option in the set up, no set up
Check what seats you have, you need memory seats to have any chance of dipping mirrors. Could have memory seats fitted as an option
The previous owner may not have set up the mirrors to dip.
Select reverse, adjust the mirrors to how you want them when reversing, then save to your shosen memory number.
Select neutral and the mirrors should return to normal, select revers an they should dip.

I wrongly assumed that it had memory seats as it seems to have every other option going - but it doesn't. I was sure it had rear headphone sockets too but doesn't

I've looked at that many spec lists in the last week I'm probably thinking of a different one haha

Rear Headphone Sockets ended around MY09 iirc.

I have a MY10 XS with rear headphone sockets. No memory seats or dipping door mirrors though.

Mine has the upgraded audio system so I was surprised that it didn't have the rear plugs. I wonder if that was another option on top of the stereo?

Does anyone have a list of the options for the 2010 generation? I can't find much online about it
