Kumho tyres any use?

Hi all got to replace the tyres on my Audi A4 (wranglers still going strong on the FL after 2 years)
Has anyone any experience of Kumho tyres? they seem to get decent reviews..... Thumbs Up

Swapped some Michelin's off my Clio Sport with some Kumho's as they were half the price, just as grippy for me although the sidewalls were slightly softer which meant it had a bit more roll when cornering (hard)

Bonus to the softer sidewalls was it made speedbumps and potholes not a back breaking event.

Edit: I believe they are standard fit to some Mercedes models now too.

Fitted Kumho KL78s before last winter, when the factory fitted Goodyears came to end of useful life.
Kumhos have been excellent. I anticipated more road noise but I can't detect any.
They are wearing well, ride well, perform well offroad and were less costly than the Goodyears
Very happy.

I've had Khumo's on a Golf GTi a few years ago and didn't have any issues at all. I would definitely consider them again. They seem to be quite popular as a Mid range performance car tyre.

I had kumho tyres on my D3 when I bought it, ok for running around on but I found them not great when the weather got a bit cold and wet and they were lousy on the grass and in the ice and snow.

when you think that there is only about 14" square of rubber per corner in contact with the road supporting 2 ton of metal doing a fair speed around corners, its pretty important to get the best tyres you can afford so that they keep you on the road Thumbs Up - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!
