Seems a special UK Market ploy by most manufacturers to charge extra for any non-flat colour, i.e. most of their colour range. I believe some other markets don't do that. It seems largely a con to me; I doubt it costs much more to source & apply. | ||

Fortunately from a number of perspectives it is the best colour down under. It keeps the car a touch cooler in the heat of summer, shows the least amount of dirt. I have have a very dark blue car, never again, and a 'track yellow' Peugeot 504. That was pretty good at hiding Dirt! The other issue is with insurance. Some of our insurance companies charge a higher premium for darker colours as these cars are involved in more car accidents. White works out the cheapest in the long run.

What evidence do you have to support your answer I think people buy black cars because they want a black car! Keeping warm well thats what heated seats and a heated steering wheel is for Yulong White - Metallic will be available from January 2015. Having seen it on a full fat I much prefer the Fuji White and that not because Fuji is free MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior MY15 Xenon Headlight Conversion MY17 RRS SVR - Estoril Blue Cirrus/Ebony 🪣💺’s

I have a few relatives in UK and Europe and with black cars. The heat waves you are having these days, I think looking at lighter colour cars could be worthwhile. I was in France for a few months a couple of years ago and said to other half that this was the last time I would complain about hot weather in Sydney. 43º day after day, and I know what this is like. Had 46º a few years ago and this was by the ocean! It is good to see that you have air conditioning in all your cars these days.
