i watch a little bit of a progrma about ebola last night and they was going on about a buddy buddy system

so you get dressed together, making sure each layer of suit has no tears and taped up

all good and well, but they then sprayed him with a UV solution and the buddy had to take his suit off for him, slowly, layer by layer, then scrub him down etc

all good and well, but who then takes off the buddies protection layers Confused

Maybe they should have a cycle of the same people treating the patients for a fixed period of time whilst remaining isolated and then undergo a quarantine period before having a time off period.

Allowing someone to mix with patients daily and then board a commercial jet and fly into another densely populated area and everybody then split up seems like a recipe for disaster.

i saw the same picture, i believe the patient was in the yellow suit boarding the plane, as stretcher was empty.

but still in that scenario surely you'd WANT to be in a suit Sophie Alltoft

A slightly different spin on Ebola, and a pop at Liz Truss and the rest of her Tory idiots who support this madness....

Increasingly concerned at the impending threat of the Ebola virus, badger community leaders have called for the introduction of a human culling programme.
“We’re proposing an initial pilot programme,” Furry Rita told us yesterday, “by having marksmen to shoot the pilots of the planes that seem to be bringing in the virus into the country. The pilots may not have Ebola themselves, but they are obviously carriers so need to be eliminated for the good of everyone else.”
“Of course we’ve no idea how much humans spread Ebola,” continued Rita, the co-leader of the Harold Woods badger colony, “but vaccinations are too much hassle, so it’s much easier to shoot some as an experiment and then we can see what effect this has on the rest of the population.”
Fellow badger leader Manky Kevin warned that further slaughter may be necessary, but on the plus side he stressed that it would be scientific and humane.
“Moving on, we’re proposing a broader cull but can assure people that it will be conducted scientifically,” he said, stereotypically wisely. “So we suggest that the cull is restricted to a geographical region around Heathrow, let’s say Middlesex to start with. Once we’ve wiped out a couple of million, we can take stock.”
“The cull will have no real significant impact on human population numbers as there are millions of them out there. In the long run I’m sure they’ll thank us.”

Edit: sorry Taz, you beat me to it.

If you eradicated the country of every single badger, it would still not solve the problem of BTB. It is passed cattle to cattle. Inoculation is the only solution, as Wales has proved. NFU propaganda has bought about the cull, which leading scientists, vets and even some DEFRA officials have told the Government, WILL NOT WORK and blindly they just ignore fact to appease a minority who donate to Tory Party funds. Foraging near Gaydon....
