It's normal for The Doctor to be completely Off-Topic as he spends most of his time in another time in another galaxy. He's just been to Calafornia and that's a planet in its own solar system inhabited by creatures very much off beam.

The Doctor travels into galaxies that are clearly beyond many peoples' abilities to comprehend; indeed he's rumoured to be the inspiration and project advisor on Branson's/Land Rover's "Discovery Sport" launch competition onboard the Virgin Galactica. Despite being a Tardis and Freelander pilot LR refuse permission for our very own Doc to pilot the craft. Fear of litigation from the relatives of the competition winners' none return are reasons being quote in documents floating around Group HQ
