engine oil

hi all, Halfords oil fully synthetic 5w/30 , 5w/40 ,£12.00 4lts in shops now. :)

yes as you say Halfords own brand not Castrol, and no good for Freelander.

Why no good for Freelander. Surely if it's Ford spec, it's suitable isn't it? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

hi iain, sorry for your wasted journey ,one that was on offer that I bought met the ford specs from 2006 wss-m2c-913-c who said that they was not compatible for our engines or was you just after a certain brand,a look on the net at Halfords site may have saved you journey,

4L of Castrol 5w30 magnatec Ford spec was £20 in Asda at the weekend so picked one up Smile £9 for a 1 litre too which isn't bad!
