Side Vents

Has any changed a side vent?

I have a massive stone chip on near side side vent, it either needs to be replaced, or removed and painted, but how is this done? I am assuming I need to remove the inner wheel arch to gain access.

Chris.

I changed my side vent this weekend, very simple job.

The vent is clipped at the botton, you need to remove the side repeater, release these clips, then pull the vent downwards. To prevent any paint damage on the wing I released the clips by loosening the wheel arch linner (two screws and two 10mm nuts) and release the clips with my fingers, and out came the vent.

Hope this helps.

Chris,
