I think of it as this - you pay AutoTrader to advertise there, you pay eBay to advertise there, you pay the Times to advertise there - therefore you should pay Freel2 for the use of its service to attract buyers to your trade.

The above seller has not mentioned donations but presumably one will be made if he sells the car here.

Admittedly there isn't a donation function here right now though  "CY from DISCO3"

there are plenty of places where you can advertise for free with success - eg pistonheads, gumtree (im led to believe), but the issue is not with the payment of advertisement - its to do with the 'post police' giving the guy a hard time for not posting anything since Feb.

As CY says you have to pay to advertise in the places as he mentioned, and rightly there are many places that can advertise for free.

Freel2.com does not ask or demand for a sign up fee or advertising fee like other forums, but still has running cost involved with keeping the site running.

I personally think the Wanted & For Sale section is for active members looking for items not people just to login and sell the FL2 making the best possible price for themselves due to lack of advertisement cost.

Its my opinion, call me Post Police if you like to, I am really not bothered by your comment.

Though, He joined in Feb, telling all about the deal he got, (which does help others get a better price when haggling) he says he's selling due to the wife not getting on, fair enough she might not get on with it or certain things about the car, but he's also not bothered to ask for any advice or ways round the apparent problem she is/was having in the 4 months either.
