The new addition

Well after three years of, not faultless but damn fine ownership of a Freelander 2, it has been replaced.
77600 miles later and the first time I have ever replaced a car with the same, I found this, or more rightly Hunters LR in Preston found it for me. Better repayment terms and with warranty means the nett result is better for me and I get a cracking Spec to boot, the step up from the MY11 GS SD4 to a HSE LUX SD4 is remarkable, so much more kit and much smoother and refined. So, with spoiler on order to 'complete' the rear end, all should be well for some time.
Away in Devon this week, here's a quick pic of the new FL2, affectionately called Florry, shortened from Florence, a nod from the Firenze colour Laughing
Hopefully will get back posting more, things have been manic at work and all to the good.

Note: not sure what's happening with photos, that has come out rubbish, the site must be compressing them heavily.

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Orkney Grey

Nice car and lovely colour - it's what I would have chosen if I had bought new. I'm on my second FL2 also which is only the second time ever that I have gone for the same vehicle, although the first time doesn't really count.

My very first car was a mini van for 」32.50 which lasted two years. Then got a better one for 」75 and used the first as a spares kit! This was few years ago. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

Agreed on the colour - I'd have picked red or white if the choice had been there. Pajero 2.8 is the only car I've repeated, we had three of those consecutively and I still quite fancy a new one! Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
Tricia's - 2006 Royal Blue Beetle Cabriolet Auto
Mine - 2014 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport Matt Black
Ours - 2007 White Bailey Pageant Champagne

Nice motor Taz Thumbs Up echo comments about refinement as the difference from MY2012 to MY2013 is very noticeable. Enjoy!!! Foraging near Gaydon....
