2013 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Stornoway Grey
3rd party Navi connectable to built in 7" screen on MY2

Hi there

tried with the search function, but found nothing so far now.

What's is my idea. I'm having a MY2013 SE model ((Have bought a dealers demo car). UK model might be namend somelike other) with the 380W Meridian System with the 7" screen WITHOUT factory navigation system, bluetooth inbuilt, USB connection, DVD...

Now my (maybe silly) question. Is there a chance to start a navigation app from my iphone 5 on the built in screen?
Maybe as the DVD input (yep - has to be modified that is runs when the car is moving) or any other option. So I could have the iphone in the middle console powered via USB and having the navi info on the 7" monitor running Wink --- I don't like Brodit or similar mounts if I could avoid it. Prefere the clean factory look of the dashboard.

Another idea would be to have a new Garmin head-up-display mounted in the perforated grid where the loudspeaker is - over the screen.

Nice tips, cood modifications and any other solutions are welcome.
Thanks a lot in advance.
