There's quite a few complain of the same on their rear seats rippling on the Evoque forums. Personally I think it looks right - don't like leather seats without a bit of ripple. Rippleless leather reminds me of pleather! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Wouldn't be too bad if all the seats went like that Steve at least then they would all be the same. One of our D4's has got Premium Windsor leather and it looks nice.

Have exactly the same the standard leather seats, since the car is 2008 i think it will stay like this and won't get worse

The problem is because the sides are made of vinyl and the front panels which show your ripples are low quality leather.

When i searched for a car i looked at the Q5 too (early models) ,maybe it was just luck but all the freelander's i saw had leather seats in very good condition while on the Q5 age was showing especially on the driver seat.

I have a lot of experience with car leather. My last 9 cars (excluding the land rovers) have all been re-trimmed in bridge of wier leather and you get to know what is good and bad. A good buddy of mine has a re-trimming company where I have learnt a lot.

I have found from past practice that gentle massage will, after a short time remove most wrinkles.

If it's an old banger forget about gentle & short! A couple of wrinkles are just starting to show in my car & I haven't even been in the back! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
