Diesel tank a nightmare to fill up !!



Hi any help would be appreciated l
Everytime i go to fill up and put the diesel nozzle in fuel spills out make the pump click off iv tryed several stations and still none work maybe something is stuck, there is a flap u can see in the photo is that supposed to open ?? I have tryed locking and u locking the car but nothing works.
Anyone experienced this ??

I think that could be the widget used to stop you putting the wrong fuel in, check your handbook.

Thanks for the quick reply, i will have a look but it doesnt open even with the correct diesel nozzle 👎🏼

I think that is an Anti-Syphon flap.

I have just used the missfuel key and the flap has popped up and is working 😁😁 thanks

good of Land Rover to place the reset tool under the boot floor, right at the back, and not conveniently in the glove box. Rolling Eyes

I think the previous owner must have put wrong fuel in then because iv had a problem with loss of power , iv changed the fuel filter and it has fixed the issue and obviously that latch was down all good now thanks for the help guys
