Hi guys, hope you can help.

How do I lock the car doors and tailgate but not set either the perimeter or volumetric alarm? Off on a overnight ferry crossing soon so I need the car secure but not have alarms going off as the boat goes up and down. MY2013

I don't know about the 13MY but on my 07 you just press the lock button once for ferry mode and twice for full volumetric/sensor alarm. It may be a case of RTFM  John

A single press (I think) locks the doors but still activates the perimeter alarm. Two presses deadlocks it and activates in addition the volumetric alarm.

Nowts simple.

Single lock has never set the alarm off on any ferry crossing I've made with mine.

So that must mean the alarm that activates with movement of the vehicle is the volumetric alarm? Is that correct?

If that is the case, a single press on the fob is the answer.

Yes, 'Perimeter' means access to doors, tailgate is locked and bonnet is alarmed, 'Volumetric' is inside movement and tilt if fitted. So press once for the ferry and if you have a dog inside.
