Side step install what is this?

Hi, decided to fit some side steps the the car to assist my 20 month old daughter entry and exit to the car ( and hopefully give easier access to the roof box) so I ordered some OEM style steps from powerfuluk.

They have a rather helpful video but the kit that arrived had some extra bits in and I can't figure out where they fit..

Picture below of the standard brackets:

And then there are 6 of these:

Any ideas? FL2 HSE SD4, black, privacy glass, spoiler, 19' diamond cut alloys.

Yep watched that and the second video no sign of the extra parts anywhere. I'm putting them on this weekend so hopefully I'll find somewhere they locate! FL2 HSE SD4, black, privacy glass, spoiler, 19' diamond cut alloys.

I'm considering fitting these and the video is quite useful! Fitting those captive nuts in the inner sill looks like a snag if you haven't got the special tool he uses though.

This is the tool you need. All you do is screw the nut on it, pop it in the hole and squeeze a few times and adjusting the tension screw to get it tighter.
