Just not long back from my LR dealer and been told they have to cut the extra bodykit bumper to fit a towbar. I assumed they would have a pop out panel in the extra kit I have seen previous posts on here about the bumper being cut for the fixed towbar, however does anyone have one fitted on a dynamic? How much extra of the bumper would they have to cut away? Dont want it too look bad especiallly in traffic if cars behind me can see it . Why havnt LR made it like the Freelander 1 to fit the towbar simple 8 bolts? Last thing I want to do is to pick car up from dealers and its a wonky cut job

The rear skirt has a pattern on the inside to ensure it is cut right. But you don't need to cut out as much as they show.

I have managed to locate the fitting instructions for the genuine tow bar. It's template that land rover stick on top and cut around the bumper. However as the dynamic has the extra lip I can't see it being a neat job as they will have to cut through the bumper and the bodykit. The dealer didn't have one show me what it looks like but warned me the bumper will have to be cut ......

Check out the Witter Towbar, they didn't need a cut out on the standard rear bumper. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Do you know how much may need to be cut out of the dynamic bumper with the witter bar?

Does it really matter what it looks like from behind.... If its me behind you in traffic I can guarantee that I'm not gonna be studying the wonky cutout in the over the top body kit....

Well I've just had a Witter detachable flange bar fitted to my dynamic, and the sports bumper didn't need to be cut They were able to just bend the bumper slightly to fit the tow bar receiver. Its a very neat job, and hardly noticeable when the bar isn't fitted. I'll get some photos soon.

Angus....which detachable bar did you get? Cost? Have you got any photos?
I'm desperate to fit one in the next week or two but would prefer a detachable bar.
