iPod travel Speakers

Anybody with a iPod recommend a set of travel speakers that are good and the sound in of audible quality and have a mains adapter.

I don't want to end up with something that has no BASS and you need to be sat next to it to hear it

I am thinking JBL Onstage Micro iPod Speaker System @ £59.99

I've listened to the 'on stage' and 'radial' speakers from JBL and they are extremely good, and I the volume and quality of the sound produced from such small speakers was great......and good value for money.

In relation to Ipods I'm looking to replace my ipod nano (series 1) with something with a little more capacity, but not sure if I should go with a touch, or go for the classic so that I can get all of my tunes in lossless format on it to make the most of the Alpine system in the car.

Nano, Classic or Touch.....???

I use an pure digital radio as an ipod dock. sounds great. It lives in the kitchen 95% of the time but has inbuilt rechargeable batteries if we want to carry it out to the BBQ or what have you. The radio also has a SDcard slot so I can load 2gb of songs onto a card to save using the Ipod At work

I replaced the nano (gen1) that got stolen with the new nano 8gb, i really like it, it is very small, and the screen is just about big enough to watch movies on (which i do, for trips away)

I think i would have gone for a classic if they had one in stock when i went to buy it, just for the bigger GB and screen.

I never looked at the Touch, but it looks like a iPhone with out the phone and seems abit pointless. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The new nanos look great and are still very compact which is what i normally go for in my gadgets, and as I don't see the point of the touch when you can combine the phone function into it for just a little more......however I do like the touchscreen aspect.

Although I am not overly keen on the size of the classis the capacity is not to be ignored and I think will win the day.
