Need to read your warranty, if it was the LR Warranty then yes on the seat, but non franchised warranty can be useless, some cover very little, engine and gearbox at most.

Thanks, just wondering if there is any legal obligation above and beyond whatever is written in the warranty(which I'm still waiting for them to send) |

I'd be disspointed with the battery and would be getting back to them, the Seat Squab, would if I had seen it at the time, pointed it out and want it repaired, or the cost of taken off the price at the very least. |

Most after market warranties are termed "mechanical breakdown insurance" and does not cover any service or worn parts.

just found their warranty policy online - doesn't cover batteries or upholstery.

Some batteries don't last long, I had one fail at 18 months, if yours is original then it's done well.

It is original, however the misses' previous car battery was still perectly ok after 10 years! |
