Very nice! I'm sure that you will love it, I have enjoyed owning mine, best car I have ever owned. You will be spending most of your time cleaning it if you are going black.

You can't have a 14 plate if the car is registered before 1st March. Or do you mean a private plate?

Um.....unless I'm having a brain fart, (which is entirely possible) you still won't be able to put a 14 plate on the car if you pick it up and register it in February.

The only way you could do it would be to collect the car and not register it AT ALL (and therefore not drive it, unless you have trade plates) until March 2014, then you can put a 14 plate on it.

If you pick up the car AND register it with a bog standard 63 plate in Feb 2014, then you won't be able to put a 14 plate on the car in March 2014 as it will make it appear newer.

Or am I completely misunderstanding????

Yes, I'm confused aswell. As you said, he wouldn't be able to have a 14 plate at all, even if it was a private plate.

Dealer might not play ball, as he'll want the car in his month end figures for February, but it's gotta be worth a shot.
