Auto Lights Setting

Hi,

Is there any way to change how the auto lights work in the HSE model? they have recently changed the law here in Switzerland and now you have to have your lights on all the time whilst driving. Which is great but when i have the auto setting they aren't on during the day... and if i (heaven forbid) Big Cry have to manually turn them on when i get in the car I have to turn them off again when i get out.

Can this be done without a trip to the dealer or am I stuck with having to do it manually from now on?

Cheers,
Mike

I would assume covering the sensor on the windscreen would cheat the car in to thinking its dark, the only downside would be that the auto wipers work off the same sensor area (I think).

You can just pull the auto wiper fuse then they work as any other intermittent wiper.

I told the kids there was a counter which did a wipe when it got to 100 drops. So of course they tried to count also. It kept them quiet for a while. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

With a testbook the settings should be switched to scandinavia, then the lights should be on all the time. MY2013, 2.2 TD4 SE fuji white

What's a testbook? Sounds like what I need.

No you don't! It's the LR Dealer diagnostic & programming tool and would cost you an arm and a leg to buy plus the annual update fees! Shocked Much cheaper to get the dealer to do it. John
