To be honest I don't care whether HTC or Samsung or whoever can boast about being the king of the hill in smartphones. I always get an iPhone partly because I am used to it and happy with it but mostly because I also have a MacBook Pro and an iPad.

This means that photo's I take on any device seamlessly sync with the other items via iCloud/photostream as do contacts and iTunes music.

One thing I've noticed people say a lot whenever someone says I bought a HTC or a Samsung etc, is "why didn't you get an iPhone?" The answer will usually be "Because this is superior in every way etc etc"

Never had anyone say to me "Why didn't you get a HTC or Samsung?" It's a bizarre thing but no matter how superior HTC or Samsung are according to reviews, the iPhone has a certain aura to it. Sort of indomitable no matter what the reviews say Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Aintree Green

Well it's early days yet but first impressions is I'm liking it over the iPhone, I too have to use my phone for work and home use,so it will be getting a lot use. Made a couple of calls and the sound is so much clearer, may be that's the network, gone from O2 to 3 mobile.

Thanks for your thoughts Hinchy

I have to say, I have the iphone 5 and wish it was a bit bigger.
My eye sight is long sighted and I never have my glasses handy.
Apart from that I feel the iphone is a much more polished experience than my htc one mini.
I also prefer the fact that apple have rules on the apps that are written to help prevent malicious
Access. I have to admit to having an iMac so am very comfortable in the apple environment.
(I'll never have a windows pc in the house again!)

Roll on the iphone 6 being bigger!

The days of needing to be apple everything for a seamless experience are long gone.

I use an ipad but store contacts, notes, calendar etc in google so I can use across android, ios and PC. You can also use microsoft or yahoo as you can for email of course.

Many of the apps I use are able to sync to Dropbox or google drive so once again I can work cross platform. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc

Hi flyr

Yes you're right. I guess it's what I feel happier with.
