As you may already know, I'm not a fan of chrome! The wheels I am getting have chrome center caps which look awful on a dark alloy wheel finish not sure what's happening to LR these days anyway thinking a nice set of dark shadow chrome caps will finish the wheel off better! Only thing is I've never seen a shadow chrome cap anyone got them? Hope they will look miles better than this

I asked dealer to match that wheel color and they said the wheels goes with chrome center caps only so I bought these genuine center caps in blakc and they look very nice. They match all four badges I have changed on the car, front, rear and side pillars.

The came center caps which I saw on latest Range Rover Sport when had a test drive

Thanks! They do suit the car much better dealer said to me that they could give me a set of shadow chromes at a discounted price... If you look at the broucher is shows a different style of cap! When I showed it to dealers they said shadow chrome will go with the wheel better

How hard is Alaska White to keep clean? Are the sills a nightmare with tar etc Why dont you wash it yourself...Unless this is your local dealer Whats niggles you had with the Freely....

i have lost all inclination to wash it myself at this time of year, the wet roads just throw up dirt, the car in front hits every puddle, so i leave it unwashed and give it a good going over when it improves.

I don't send it to the Kosovo Car Wash brigade, i just occasionally jet wash the crud off, no touching it with the muddy broom, just soap, leave, hot wash off, rather than get all my snow foam out and buckets and this that and the other for it to be dirty a day later

White is a forgiving colour, much like silver, but not as much, as road grime/salt dry quite light, so you don't see it as much, unless up close and swiping a finger on it like Taz does to it, sort of a very light grey film on it mostly

Tar wise the 5L of Tardis in the garage sorts anything bad out, but normally only need to sort the underneath sills and the side tubes seem to protect the vast amount of kicked up from hitting the sill

Its all protected with a good Gtechniq Sealent, so that should last 8 months plus too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
