It's early days for me. Who knows what happens in three year time. LR might decide to do a extented warranty as well.

It is done through the dealers mate. I was notified by mail from my local dealer 2 months before mine ran out. SD4 HSE Lux

Ahhh, just found my letter, the Assist cover would be sold in tandem with an extended warranty. So you can have a warranty without assist but not the other way around - I think anyway |

Thanks again. Wil wait some time and see if they offer the extended warranty ehere I am. I think that the warranty can be different from country to country. Am I correct? Can I apply for extended warranty in another country than the one of resicence/where I bought the car? Will ask the dealer at my first due service but sometimes dealers are not that kwnolegeable Thanks for your input. cheapest way (in the UK) for breakdown cover is to use Tesco clubcard points - about £30 for £140 quids worth of cover ! Thats with RAC |

I did extend my LR Assist cover when my warranty ran out on my previous LR Disco, however it was insanely expensive. So I binned in in favour of roadside cover by my insurance company a few years later. All renewals came by post from LR Assist directly. Life is not a dress rehearsal! |
