TATA

It's a fact. Land Rover doesn't belong to Ford anylonger.

But what TATA stands it for ?

In French, FORD could mean "Fabrication Oridinaire, Réparation Difficile" (Fabrication: ordinary - Repair: difficult)

In my language (Flemish), tata means "bye-bye".
According to Wikipedia, not only in Flemish:

In North America, tata is slang for breasts. This gives the phrase "Nice Tatas" a whole new meaning. I'm sure CarlFraz would have a whole thread devoted to it if he were still around.

What is the meaning of Tata?

In Romanian TATA means father. So when my almost 2 year old son calls after me and says TATA I allways think it's the new LR owners comming to offer me a free upgrade Laughing
