Nick & co: I posted a topic about megashare with a link to it and asked what it was all about and how you could watch such films online. Someone replied stating the films were pirated which I suspected they were for free!

I assume that's why the topic was deleted? Don't mind if it was and I can understand it, just curious. Cheers LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

A discussion about it is fine, linking directly to a pirated film is not. Would you like to see Freel2 taken offline for being a site which shares pirated material?

No but that's highly unlikely to happen as technically you aren't sharing it, just a link to it. A bit like it appearing on Google search. They aren't endorsing it etc.

That said, I can understand why as it is your site that it is best to remove it, think I would do the same if it was my site. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

This kid from Sheffield was running a site which only provided links to TV shows:

The yanks wanted to extradite him to the US and bang him up for 5 years, they don't mess about! lol

The link didn't bring anything up Confused

I must say that I can see Warner Bros and co wanting the authorities to prosecute and seek out the people who run such sites but thousands or millions could view films in the meantime so not a great deal they can do about that I suppose.

What do you make of the small print at the bottom of their page? It says they don't embed any videos, they are gained from various sources. Is that their get out of jail free card? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
