What's your experience wearing all season tyres all year long?

I'm thinking to drive in Spain wearing some all season tyres. As you can imagine, we don't have to much snow in Spain but I travel a lot during the year and in some areas you can find until 4" inches of snow and also ice during winters. If we are considering that our cars are AWD (4WD) could be enough with all seasons tyres M+S or beater with snowflake mark.
I'm considering between:

Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons SUV m+s and snowflake
Pirelli Scorpion STR m+s ( not sure if those has snowflake ???? )

What do you think about those ones? Any other suggestion?

I use to drive over those tyres 80% on road (high ways and secondary roads) 20% off road ( soft to medium )
