The lens is "sharp" and can take a good amount of abuse! Any aperture greater than f4 should have pretty much everything in focus if you select a slightly closer focus point than the furthest point. | ||

 Nick, Are you aware that you can download from Nikon distortion control? This can then be stored as a firmware update in your camera. For Nikon lens only. Even includes my ancient lenses This will ensure straight lines on your property shots without the need for post shot fiddling in Photoshop. If you use a tripod to take property shots, have a look if your camera has either 'mirror lockup' or 'exposure delay' for a crisper shot | ||
