Hi all,
changed to FL2 couple of months ago from Honda CRV. Really happy with no issues so far (fingers crossed!). The one thing my old CRV had that I miss is the tinted widows from B pillar back.
Can anyone recommend anywhere I could get this done around the Birmingham area and any approximate idea of cost.

Not sure about anyone in brum but I know the going rate in Manchester is around £160 for b post back for good quality tints.

Executive Tints Ltd. In Burton on Trent did mine Four years ago and they are still superb. I had the Limo tint which is equal to the factory tint. Thoroughly recommend them. Ralph

I don't think you would need to tell insurer as long as you don't have the front or front side windows done. The rears are better for the insurer as it stops the local low life seeing what's inside. Ralph

Just had mine done by local firm recommended by my LR dealer. The Tint Shop, Inkberrow, WR7 4LB. Dominic 07919 004442. They picked up car from outside my office in morning and returned early afternoon. Cost £180. Disco 4 HSE SDV6 Orkney Grey

Reading this post got me interested as the last 2 we had came with privacy glass so just emailed the local tinter , he has quoted £135 for B pillar rearwards . I asked him tinting similar to factory spec and he replied LR is approx 20% tint , asked about Limo and he said thats about 5% .
