2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Remote key fob

Hi.
Any advise on how long a battery lasts freelander 2 2007 . I sent off and got battery changed 2 years ago. Expected it to last longer . Have opened case it's a Panasonic battery . Can't see what type though ?

Both of mine are still original never had to swap the batteries.

I was told by the salesman on my last car that they should last over 10 years. Sold the car when it was at 7 years old and the fobs still working with no problems. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Do you know for certain that the replacement battery was actually rechargeable rather than a bog standard cell?

Mines a 2007 both fobs working fine,they do get alternated every month.

Good point about the docking station charging
Going to go to remote fob centre this time for replacement, as suggested not sure I got a rechargeable battery last time My 2007 hse Stornaway grey used for towing twin axle just perfect

Blanked EGR
Sump guard
