The bean counters reckon it costs something like £12000 a year to have a kid.......................... I can see CG being a 'vanner once he can no longer afford 3 weeks a year in the sunshine. Hope all goes well for Mrs CG and the baby, it seems to be the season for them as a load of folks over on RRS have annouced new arriveals or pending new arrivals. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

err backwards ... how can I afford a van, towbar, awning , shell suit and a frontal lobotomy while trying to raise a baby? Laughing

Although in a way I do have a caravan already, we have a summer house in the garden were we can sit and enjoy the sun and the views of sunny Yorkshire . The only catch is, good weather means there is work to do on the farm whereas rain means no work but who wants to sit in the garden in the rain? Crying or Very sad.
But I bet mrs CG and the little one enjoy their summer in the garden. We have even got our hands on one of those huge old fashioned silver cross prams just for garden duties/. At work
