PR has narrowed it down to two, Freelander 2 or back into a Disco, he has Land Rover in his veins, he's not going anywhere else. If he goes with his head it will be a Freelander, but if its with his heart...........

I went with the Disco because I can, simple, just the two of us, the rear seats are rarely used, it tows like nothing I've ever owned, including a TD5, the only vehicle I've ever owned where I can honestly say that when I unhook the van it still goes the same, if anyone else who has a Santa Fe or similar says it tows like there's nothing there is talking out of what their sat on.

I have it to tow the van, but their again, I can't afford to have a Disco and a Freelander on the drive and only a garden trailer to tow  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

No one has said there is anything wrong with the Fl2, hence we are all on this forum. A member as asked our opinion and we have given it. Many members on here share a desire to own a RRS, some are in a position to purchase, I for one can't.

Ideally I would like to keep my Fl2 for 5yrs and buy an early L405 Range Rover, nothing to do with bravado or showing of how much I earn, it's my dream motor. At the moment it's never going to happen but that's life 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I was looking at a used RRS, then again a brand new RRS is only £70 per month more than I am paying now and we currently dont reclaim VAT becuase it is a personal lease, this offer for the RRS would be less then we are currently paying, quite affordable and I as now own half the company I can drive what the heck I want.
Until Legomans comments I hadn't even considered a new one but at these prices it may well be an option

You have only had your Freelander 3 months! I would wait until the new Disco and FL3 are released.

Don't worry chris, the blue beastie ain't going anywhere just yet it will be staying until 2015 at least, I want to have a good look at the Freelanders replacement and the next Disco before I change.

I'm beginning to get itchy feet too, when I get back from holiday, I am going to pop down to the stealers and have a nose at the new RRS.

Will likely be another FL2 next year, which I will keep until the FL3 is released.

I have loved reading all your comments! Yes I have the Green Oval in my veins! The grand children have a Toylander to play with! I have a Disco one as my vehicle of choice. Off roding etc. brings a smile to my face each time i drive it! 15 years old and still my baby! We drive a F2 as our economical vehicle! Just need to move on! In my heart it will be a Disco 4, but economics say a Freelander!
