England 3 - 2 Scotland

Good effort Scotland, you didn't play bad and indeed had the lead twice. The score at full time is what counts though and you lost Mr. Green

Do enjoy the trip home and relive that Ricky Lambert header Rolling with laughter

Not often we see a friendly this good.
Ref had a good game and allowed a flowing game Thumbs Up .

Scotland did well but still can't England beating the bigger teams. They would have been punished at least for a poor half hour at the start of the game, let alone giving the ball away too easily. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

It's high time we went back to soccer season being September to May, with cup final the last game of the season and then blessed relief for summer. For heaven's sake, there's still a Test Match to come and England CAN play that game.

If we really had good home soccer players then we wouldn't need the current plethora of foreigners dominating "our" league teams and management. Premier League is just big business these days, soccer's no longer a sport. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Lago Grey

yes it was a brilliant match to watch and Scotland did well against the old enemy !!

but for the life of me I still can't see any skill at all in Wayne Rooney, and am at a total loss to understand who in their right mind would want to buy him ?

seriously am I missing something here ? and if so please please enlighten me !!

Iain

If only we played football as well as we play tennis.

Doesn't make much difference to me I'm not a footie fan, prefer rugby and we ain't much better at it. If the players put as much effort in to the game as the fans do supporting them things would be a lot better. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
