HELP!!!

Picked up my FL2 on Friday after having a crank replaced and the rear diff oil pressure pump replaced. Everything find including a 200 mile round trip to Oxford today but on my way home came to some traffic lights and thought my exhaust had gone. The noise was really really loud just like a blown exhaust but when i took put it in Neutral the noise stopped and even revving wouldnt re-create it, put it in D and the noise starts again. After driving off it stopped but later came back, after 30 minutes driving around I have discovered that on a tightish left hand turn i feel a click through the steering and then i get this noise which seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel, turn right it cures it! - any ideas?

Spoke to the dealer who wasnt the most helpful - they would have it in tomorrow but have no courtesy car available so suggested i call Landrover Assistance which i will do tomorrow morning (im guessing if they come tonight and take it off the road im not going to get a courtesy car)

Would be useful to know if anyone has had a similar problem.

Before any driving, see if the wheel nuts are properly tightened...

LR Assist reckon it was the aux tension belt thingy? Took it to dealer and picked up a Range Rover Sport Luxury - nice (am i now a temporary member of the chicken club??)
