For those who use the van in these colder months, Ive found this fan heater for those times you need a quick boost in the van or extra heat in the porch/awning........

This is no usual fan heater as the temperature control is electronic, and very accurate, display shows the set temperature and room temp, once the set temp is reached its maintained very accurately with just short 'bursts' so quite economical too!

Its minimum setting is 5c so useful also for frost protection

My local Homebase was also selling them on offer for £29.99 ( £10 off!)

Caravans may have been 'draughty' back in the 50/60's ( you know when tractors had skinny front wheels and natural 'air conditioned' drivers seats but not these days!

Looks like a nice bit of kit - just need to watch your current draw. It's 2kW which is 8.3amps. If you have the Truma Ultraheat on the 2000W setting too (or a domestic kettle for that matter) that's another 8.3kW. Even Caravan Club sites are only 16amp max supply. You'll keep the wardens busy resetting your hook-up point.
Remember, the Truma space heater on gas produces 3kW so if you want to be toastie warm, burn a bit of gas. FL2 2007 57 GS
