Try both and then decide for yourself. You may be able to source an auto from another dealership. All I can tell you is that the auto is worth the wait. |

I have had a Man Fl1, then 2 Auto Discos and now a Man Fl2 - I paid £1000's adding Auto and it was not reflected in P/X values so this time decide to save some money and go for better Mpg.

Former forum frequenter Car Fraz, first had a manual and then for one reason and another had the oppurtunity to change the car which he did for an Auto, and he said it was so much better.

Thanks everyone. I must confess that my gut instinct is to hang on for the auto even if it means not being an F2 owner for a bit longer! |

An auto is also much better if you have to drive in offroad situations - you cannot cook the clutch, even though the hydraulics can overheat they are cooled pretty quickly. Go auto! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I chose the manual over the auto based on LR's fuel consumption figures. (what a joke they are |

Having tried both there's no comparison ..... the manual is fine, the auto is totally brilliant. Try then buy!! |
