United States 2007 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
2009 LR2 Refresh

Came across these photos on thelandroverchronicles.com of a slightly refreshed LR2 for 2009. At first glance, it looks like the grille and standard rims have been changed (on at least the HSE). Interestingly, the sunroof is not clearly visible on the photos of the refreshed model; new version perhaps given the recall? Here's the link:

its nice to see they have lost the side orange indicator

and all the cars look to be "double badged"

"Freelander 2 HSE I6"
"LR2 HSE TD4"

But clearly a I6 due to the twin exhaust

Seems like the body kit grille to me as fitted to the hst, Hopefully landrover will fit clear side indicators from now on so we can sell our orange ones to any newcomers who would prefer them.

prehaps the double badging is landrovers idea of a hybrid car diesel/petrol take your pick!

The 2009 models do have some nice refinements. Like front interior map lights and load space power socket and it looks like they have changed the design of the interior power sockets plug/cover Smile And its bout time they had clear lens side indicators instead of us all spending hard earned cash getting our own Laughing

I wonder how different Lago Grey and Martinique Blue colours are compaired with todays alternatives Question
But all in all it sounds like some small improvements, except "with jewel like details within rear lights" Rolling Eyes - crumbs, I hope that does'nt mean LR are heading in the direction of Audi's newest (Christmas tree) headlight design Exclamation 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Well I guess you know your Caspian Blue Viking, but to my eyes the so called new Martinique Blue, looks a much brighter blue than the photo's of your ride Confused But then maybe its just the light Question
