Hi Gambba - as I earlier mentioned "Photographers like me always look for the small details that may catch you out" Rolling Eyes - Your FL2 may be registed in 2008, but juging by the leather, it is a 2007 model, ie - no extra stiching on the seats as the real 2008 models have Shocked 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Ashame your attention to detail makes you....just plain wrong!

1. The 2008 HSE models here changed nothing but the price.
2. The seats were delivered to the production line on the 16th november 2007 (there was a peice of paper inside one of the seats), which makes it a REAL 2008 model, because manufacturers build the next years models months before the year end.
3. The tenth digit of the chassis number indicates the year it was manufactured which in my case is an 8 meaning 2008.

Attention to detail doesn't always make you right Ner Ner

[Rant on]

Read your post again and see who was being nasty.......................... I think you'll find you made the insinuation that I was saying my car was a 08 model when it was actually a 07 model.

Now if you'd said that you thought 08 models had extra stitching that would have been different, but you didn't!

[Rant off]

Hi Gambba - Sorry, grovel again Thud didn’t mean to sound like that, but I guess when I type messages its easy to choose the wrong words Embarassed
Again - you are right, sorry for the mistake, which I have only just realised from the LR website Thumbs Up
