Winter tyres ordered

Despite a recent dilemma and poll between buying an iPad or winter tyres because I couldn't afford both (went for iPad), I had an email informing me of a £200 refund of my LPC deposit due to a change of supplier of the course and the new supplier didn't want the £200! This coupled to the sale of my private plate meant I could make a purchase!

I have paid £355 including delivery for a set of these: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/wheels-and-ty...act-ts-850

I know it's early but I thought I would pounce while they had them in stock and before price went up when winter arrives. Cheapest I could find inc delivery Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I'm lucky on one hand that I dont need these as its mild round here at the worst but sad on the other I cant play Sad

I prob will get some new tyres before Winter all round ( not happy with whats on now ) but I think they will be 'normal' rather than winter tyres.

Best time to buy in theory. Low demand and low price and I thought that was a good deal including delivery. Just stash them away until late October me thinks LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Where did you order from Doc? We have just moved to N Yorks so think the Freely might appreciate some winter boots this year.

Got them here: http://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/car-ty...,T,FR.html

4x4 winter tyres will be approx £150-£200 dearer depending on brand. The Avons I had for the FL2 were about £570 inc fitting. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
