Used with a pressure washer the 'muc-off' is good. The wolfs and tardis requires you to leave it so it can soften the hard deposits.

Then I've just got a microfibre tickling stick I used to just clean them you would normally. Tip top and nothing out of the ordinary. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Just to let you know I have been trying to get a group buy together from Polished Bliss, however, they have come back with an answer...."we don't do group buys" sounds like they may have had a bad experience but at least I tried Big Cry

Just got some Valet Pro Billberry wheel cleaner. Tried it today at its weakest suggested dillution, worked a treat! Went over the wheels twice, second time with a microfibre cloth and the wheels look great! Has anyone got any suggestions for wheel sealents? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I was always told to treat wheels like your paintwork, so you can apply polish/wax to wheels.

There's also wheel specific products from the likes of Auto Finesse. I use Muc Off wheel sealant or Autoglym aerosol wheel seal though.

I'm thinking of using my wax instead. Might be more durable. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Mine desperately needs a wash but too much pesky sun at the moment... where's the british (aka cloudy and miserable) summer weather gone? Censored

I find washing with direct sunlight to be super stressful, running around drying it like a nutter before streaks form everywhere. Another week and I may have no choice...

Do most people here have garages/shaded areas where they can wash whatever the weather? FL2 2011 SD4 XS in Galway Green

I have the same issue. My drive is in direct sunlight and the cars turn to ovens. I have to wash them evening, (I'm not a morning person). Laughing My car is filthy! Sad

Thanks, but I'm quite new to washing the car by myself. I am going to attempt to wash it late once it has cooled off, and if I do a better job, I will have a go at waxing/detailing in the future. Thumbs Up

Agree about dodo juice, it's rubbish.

I've gone back to using meguires products and some bilt hamber, though I prefer meguires. At the moment I'm using meguires wash n wax waterless car wash Shocked it's very good for light summer road grime, no sign of any paint damage.

Waiting on a fresh bottle and meguires hot wheel tyre shine or something like that. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

When it comes to polishing (never polished before!! Complete novice) can you polish off the clear coat? Does polishing remove microscopic dirt in the clear coat so you can see the paint better? And how often do people polish cars? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
