Rear axle is a Series 2 one. Front axle has free wheeling hubs fitted.

I thought it looked something like that, a long way travel with / for some pallets. DrRpb, all sort of period running modifications. not rivet counting just being a sharp eyed land rover nutter, sorry enthusiast. Very envious of your 49 model. |

It is a 1951 80". Bought it in 1989, had a straight six rover engine in it. That died and in went a 2.25 diesel. It now has a 200tdi from a discovery. It's my daily driver. Used all year round. |
