The Grabber AT is available in this size, and is the later and better tyre anyway. Several people hereabouts (including me) are running them.

If you look at this link (has various photos x 12) before it gets sold, you can see what they look like on a FL2 which was mine, I had the standard AT grabbers fitted a few weeks before I sold it on. They are the size you are asking about.

Are they doing the ATs in 18" yet. Not sure if I read it some where or is it the new GT tyre that's just come out.

Yes, the AT is available in 18 inch. I've got them and like them.

Give Andy a call at AJS - site sponsor. Think mine were £650 or thereabouts.

If you want better off road then I recommend going to 245/65/17 or 245/60/18 depending on your wheel size. The size is legal (here anyway) and doesn't fool with the warranty, insurance or speedo much. Also doesn't touch any of the suspension or body work. Definately better off road and not much different on road. I think it looks better as well but I like off roaders with bigger tyres, I'm not into slicks at all. You probably should check your local regs though.

perfectly legal. Gives a bit of lift, so that's better. Bit more tyre wall for absorbing bumps etc. Do it

2010 Plate Freelander 2 Maximum tyre size without rubbing

Hi i have a Freelander 2 with 235/65 r17 standard tyre size.
I wondered if anyone knows what the maximum tyre hieght and width I could fit without having to modify and also without rubbing.
Im looking at fitting some AT tyres and this would give me more options.
Thanks
