Don't think they are any better or worse, just slightly quicker to adjust height.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Rimini Red

I have an SGS 3 ton trolley jack. I am generally pleased with it although you have to take care when releasing it as it is a bit quick off the mark. It just needs a very gentle initial touch for slow controlled descent to avoid dumping your precious Freelander unceremoniously back on terra-fima and frightening the children. Perhaps it is just different from my trusty old small 1.5 ton trolley jack which is very progressive in its drop. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
- GCS Hawke - Sports, BRG, Vulcan 2.1 inj'. My toy - built it myself in 2001.
