What size rivnut for sidesteps

Hi - I am going to put sidesteps on my Dynamic. I removed the sidesteps from my XS prior to selling it. Could someone tell me what size rivnuts i need to fit the steps. Cheers,

I had to re-drill the holes as the bolts would not fit.... After drilling a got the garage who fitted my side protectors to fit the nuts for me, they did a good job has I did not have the necessary tools.

What appalling spelling!

Start again,

I had to re-drill the holes as the originals obviously too small to take the bolts. The FL was going into the garage to get the door protectors fitted so I asked them to fit the rivet nuts for me. Was delighted when they did it, better job that me!
