How many FL2 Wheels can you fit in your car?

How many freelander 2 17" wheels with tires can you fit in the FL2 boot?

I would like to get 4 in with at least the single rear seat up for the kids child seat, or would i need to have all seat laid down?

Or would it be possible to have 3 wheels and one in the roof box (roof box has 75KG load weight)

If anybody could take the weight of a wheel if you have a spare set this would help loads Thumbs Up

Looking at buying a second set to off road on and i would have to collect so thinking weekend away when collecting Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Darn good question, but I would remove your spare wheel so that one could go in there then the other 3 can go in the boot, might be easier to fit that way.

.......just a thought. ______________________

I recently had a flat and i mounted the flat wheel in the cargo bay and there was much space left.Another one could be for sure be placed on top of the other without any problem in hight. With the back seats folded 4 should fit pretty easy.

As far as the weight i can tell you later this afternoon as im going to pick up my 18" spare which i guess will be pretty much the same weight!

Take the caravan, hurl the wheels in it instead of the fl2 to save damaging anything useful!

But then i would be stuck behind something without getting out of 1st gear Exclamation spraying mud all over the road with brake lights and indicators that don't work, I won't even go down the line of No Registration showing Exclamation

I had to fold all seats down to get four 18" wheels in recently; I may be wrong but I don't think it possible with the 1/3rd seat in place.

outbidded on eBay Laughing

Never mind i (my boss Smile ) was only buying them for the tyres, sold for £265 aswell

I could have either then resold the alloys (GS ones Question ) or my choice put some off road tyres on the rims Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
