Plastic Side Skirts

I have been the winning bidder on eBay on a set of replacement door skirts for a grand total of £0.99p. Shocked

I originally thought i would buy them as a spare set if i ever damaged them as i keep clipping a small wall when getting out of the car at home.

Now I am thinking what would these look like if i sent them to a bodyshop to have them painted Stornaway Grey

has anybody else had this done, or at least looked into doing this Question

Can this type of plastic be painted Question

Yes you can paint this plastic I think its the same as the bumpers they lay a special primer on and allows them to paint they were a bargain cost a few quid if you went to the stealers to get them 07my Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Baltic Blue,Privacy Glass,Ebony black leather,Land rover detachable towbar,S/S Side bars,Climair wind deflectors,Bramble Rash,

I think it would need the front and rear bumpers lower parts doing aswell

I have black side protection tubes, and think it will off set the look of those by painting them, (i like the lower part of the car been black)

So i have now decided to keep them as spares in case i damage the others even more banging them into my garden wall Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have just read your post and it has actually caused me to change my mind with the dealer Laughing

I am now going to leave them black. I just know that I would have spent the cash and at some I will catch them on a wall or in a car park and be Big Cry
