Towing Mirrors for 2012 models

Hi,

I have been looking for a pair of mirrors, but am struggling to get some that fit well.

Does anyone have any recommendation.

Thanks Gone, 07 TD4 SE, Santorini Black, 18" Evoque wheels.

myself i use Milenco Grand Aero

I think a few also use the standard aero, but i found these too wobble a little more that the Grand version

Ditto for Grand Aeros with V pads. I may shape the arm to the mirror frame profile as previously suggested though. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I use the suck-it-and-see mirrors. Some people don't like them but I do - nice and easy to fit as long as the mirrors are dry and mine have never fallen off! I like being able to adjust them using the normal electric mirror controls.

Just bought a set of the Milenco Grand Aeros (flat glass). They are OK, although I find the nearside mirror is not as easy to see, maybe need the convex mirror head for this one .
Some vibration on these as well, but being a greenhorn I have nothing to compare with.

I find the convex best - good wide angle of vision at expense of distance accuracy though. Try and exchange them (the heads will swap). There may be a price variation. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Thanks Guys,

Just been following a used pair of these on t'Ebay, now up to £33 plus £9 p&p, that is only £10 quid less than new ones so will give them a miss, will look at getting a pair, thanks for your opinions and advice. Gone, 07 TD4 SE, Santorini Black, 18" Evoque wheels.

I've used Milenco Aero mirrors for a couple of years with the standard (flat) pads without any problem. Would recommend them.

Thanks all, have been watching ebay for a while and finally got a pair of the standard aero mirrors for just under £15 inc P&P. These do look a lot better engineered than the others out there, no vibration problems with the standard pads. Gone, 07 TD4 SE, Santorini Black, 18" Evoque wheels.
