I would not use TFR, I've seen the damage that does, hence I would take the risk with a bucket and sponge. TFR will take the shine off, it eats away at the paint. Will also take the black out of the plastics, your choice |

Agree with ad123456789101112131415, won't go anywhere near TFR. |

Did anyone ever get anywhere with cleaning the head lining? Managed to make a mess of mine by piling tyres too high in the boot |

Headlining cleaning methods depend upon how bad the dirt is and what type of muck.

The notes above apply equally to cleaning fabric seat upholstery .

Baby Wipes clean up mucky and discoloured rubber floor mats up a treat, maybe the moisturiser they put in them oils the rubber |

Autobrite FAB as the cleaner, diluted into a spray and good old fashioned elbow grease with a fabric sponge. I did the whole of the CRV work horse we have interior wise and it came up like new including the head lining and mucky boot carpet.

Thanks to all - I'm sure the detail will help others as well as me! Looking at it in daylight, the babywipes have done a better job than I thought (isopropyl alcohol is the active ingredient) so it just needs finishing off. I'll look to follow your suggestions and report back. |

Baby wipes are brilliant but equally can be a hazard.
